What to expect on your first session

First we go though a thorough health questionnaire to ascertain exactly where your are at at that point and discuss the best type of plan for you and your lifestyle.

We then begin with a static postural assessment and some functional movement tests to ascertain where your main imbalances are and which areas we need to stretch, strengthen, balance and stabilise to start your postural alignment process.

Based on this I then design a daily program for you which we progress over time according to your body’s needs and your lifestyle.

What not to expect!

A diagnosis or treatment of symptoms or injuries. I have a physio I can recommend should you need it😊

Who is Postural Alignment Therapy For

Anyone and everyone who is committed to improving their health and physical function.

You will need to dedicate at least 30mins per day (to begin) to do your specific exercise program.

Be invested into changing lifestyle and habits that could be negatively effecting your health and posture.

Most people come to me because they are experiencing musculoskeletal pain of some description, chronic and/or exercise or movement triggered and can’t seem to find a long-term solution.

In all cases we look at the posture and the dysfunctions rather than focussing on the symptoms.

Some choose postural alignment because they can see that their posture is looking imbalanced and don’t want it to get any worse for health and/or aesthetic reasons.

Can’t stop those knees dropping in when you squat? we can work on that too!

Some people just want to keep their body in the best physical health they can to maintain an active life doing the things they love.
